For much of this week, the EUR/USD has been edging lower with the US dollar regaining some ground after last week's sell-off that was triggered, in part, by the bond market worries. Investors have been unwilling to bet further against the US dollar so far this week ahead of Kevin Warsh's keynote speech at the Jackson Hole summit, due later today.

AUDUSD keeps firm tone and holds near the highest in 3 ½ months on Friday, on track for the ninth straight weekly gain and for the second consecutive monthly close in green.

EUR/USD, EUR/JPY and AUD/USD await Jackson Hole, with 1.1580, 185.65 and 0.7175 among the key levels shaping today's forex outlook.

Pound Sterling Price News and Forecast: GBP/USD holds steady to near 1.3600

Silver price breaks above $70 ahead of Jackson Hole, with Fed policy set to test the breakout as long-term demand and tight supply support the bullish outlook.

Gold price approaches a key inflection point as $4,800 resistance and a new golden cross meet the Jackson Hole catalyst, with $4,500 support at risk.

Silver has taken clear leadership across precious metals just hours before Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole keynote, rising more than 2% and breaking back above 70. Platinum is also advancing strongly, up around 2.6%, while gold is essentially unchanged.

The Euro held below the resistance of 1.1710 and dropped further to close from target and support at 1.1570. This support zone of 1.1570 could keep the advance scenario ongoing over the market.

GBPUSD also managed to hold below the resistance of 1.3675 while managing to hit a correction to move towards the target and support at 1.3560. As long as the market holds above the 1.3560 support, the advance scenario could return.

The Yen gave back some of its recent advance that was triggered by US and Japanese intervention. USDJPY managed to print above the 158.05 resistance which indicates a wider range for rebound towards the 160.85 resistance.
