Ripple Expands Africa Presence With Absa Digital Asset Custody Deal

Ripple is expanding its footprint in Africas institutional digital asset market through a new partnership with Absa Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), bringing its crypto custody technology to financial institutions across the continent. Reece Merrick, a senior Ripple executive, announced the partnership on Monday, saying the collaboration will support the launch of Absa Digital Asset Custody.
