Ripple Backs Velocity as Funding Round Reaches $48 Million

Ripple has participated in a $10 million funding extension for stablecoin payments platform Velocity, strengthening its investment in infrastructure designed to connect traditional finance with blockchain-based settlement systems. The latest investment expands Velocitys funding round to $48 million and gives the London-based fintech company a valuation of approximately $200 million.
