Bitget Protection Fund reports $382M average valuation in August

Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has released its latest Protection Fund report, showing an average valuation of $382 million in August 2026 as Bitcoin rallied through the second half of the month, lifting the fund's U.S. dollar valuation. The Protection Fund reached a monthly high of $441.5 million on August 27 and recorded a monthly low of $345.3 million on August 1. Throughout August, the fund maintained a valuation above its original $300 million commitment, with reserves supported by Bitget's 5,500 BTC holdings. Based on the daily Protection Fund data, Bitcoin was priced between $62,773 and $80,268 during the month.
