Solana Prepares Major Upgrade to Triple Maximum Transaction Size on Sept. 9

Solana will activate on September 9 an upgrade that will triple the maximum transaction size, from 1,232 to 4,096 bytes. The change, proposed in SIMD-0296 and the adoption of QUIC, allows ZK proofs, rollups and large multisigs to be executed in a single atomic transaction.
