Shein faces existential threat as tariffs hit low-price model, putting new focus on services

Shein's growth and profitability has been hit by new tariffs and the removal of the de minimis exemption in the U.S., documents filed in connection with its Hong Kong IPO show. The company expects sales could decline even further in Europe, its largest market, as a result of similar regulatory changes that took effect this summer.
