Dow opens 140 pts lower as tech cools from record highs, Meta gains

US stocks opened lower on Wednesday, pulling back after the Nasdaq Composite closed at a record high a day earlier, as investors rotated out of some of this week's biggest technology winners. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 148.57 points, or 0.29%, to 51,715.12.
