Nvidia reportedly in talks to back Perplexity at more than $30bn valuation

Nvidia Corp (NASDAQ:NVDA, XETRA:NVD), the US chipmaker, is in talks to invest in Perplexity as part of a funding round that would value the artificial intelligence startup at more than $30 billion, The Information reported on Sunday. The report, citing people with knowledge of the discussions, said the round would lift Perplexity's valuation by more than 50% from its previous financing a year ago.
