Weakness Was More Company-Specific Than Sector-Wide: Empire State Realty's Observatory shortfall, JBG Smith's adverse Wardman Tower ruling, Community Healthcare's dividend cut, and several troubled mortgage portfolios drove some individual downside. Mortgage Stress Hasn't Fully Cleared: Commercial mREIT book values fell nearly 5% on average as office, lab space, and multifamily credit problems persisted for some sponsors.
